B-even if you or someone else took one of those seats, the other would be open when everyone boarded-leaving an open middle
On a recent flight there were like 12 empty seats. I went all jedi-mind-trick on the middle and lasted untilt he last 6 people were trying to find seats before I lost having the row to myself.
This practice works quite well if you're really dedicated to it.
