BKK Customs - and who they're looking for?

Over the past 8 years of life in BKK I've rarely come into the country with anything more than hand luggage (despite the fact it's crammed full of vodka bottles). Needless to say I've never been stopped by customs coming in.

I've noticed that it's younger white dreadlocked hippie-type 20-somethings, people of African origin, and the occasional Arab who get stopped.

When I return in a few weeks however, I'm going to have luggage crammed with a 26" LCD TV, mico-component hi-fi, 3 laptops, as well as the more mundane clothing, cameras, etc. (finally escaping Kuwait and want to bring some of my useful things home with me).

So long as these are packed in (albeit large) suitcases, and I have my priority tags and ROPG luggage tags, anything else I could do to lessen the chances of being stopped for a booty-check?

I'm travelling 'C' but was still thinking of trying out this Thai Long Stay meet-and-greet to see if being escorted outside would help lessen the chances. Or do I wait for a few dodgy looking economy passengers and follow out behind them? Anyone have any other tips/suggestions?
