Are you doing work during the trip? If so, the amount of time spent working proportioned to the time spent enjoying yourself determines the amount of trip expenses you may deduct as "reimbursed emplyee expenses" in your case.
But time spent eating to live (as opposed to living to eat), sleeping or commuting does not go on the personal side of the equation. If anything, commuting should go ont he work side of the equation. Some employees consider a 40 hour workweek as 100% deductible.
When the amount of work time is substantial, some employees take the parts of the trip expenses needed to complete the work as all deductible and just the excess (such as hotel stays after the work is done) as non-deducctible.
None of the expenses of a non-working guest you bring are deductible.
