Very foolish unless you have money to burn. Our child has flown 45 segments and >50k miles, mostly all for free - and he is not yet 2.

Why would you blow cash on a seat that is free? For depreciating miles?

However, the "born as 1k" bravado does remind me of "DYKWIA"
