I was very disappointed in Etihad Guest's refusal to budge on my retroactive mileage. My wife and I flew return ABZ-LHR-AUH-SIN-BNE. As I'm new at this, I had stupidly not joined their guest program within their allowable 90 days. However, I enrolled just 9 or 10 days after the cutoff and they refused to credit me, resulting in a loss of over 20,000 miles!!

Does anyone know of how to get these miles back? I tried to email them and express my disappointment, promised to un-recommend them, etc., but to no avail.

Needless to say, after this fiasco and their mediocre service, I definitely will NOT fly with them again unless I absolutely have to or a good MR comes up. I wish I could transfer my existing miles to another program. Any help there?

Anyways, thanks for all the help, since I'm a newbie. I'm just starting to wrap my head around the bounty of info here! Hoping to attain elite status in the near future and fly comfortably for once.
