I don't think knowing that a casket is on board would bother me the slightest.

It's a pity that American soldiers have to die in Iraq and Afghanistan (I have no idea where this particular person died), but that will not render my flight experience "sad". I feel it's kind of "disconnected" to feel sad because that person was transported on your flight but not to think about all the other people killed.
