Unhappy It was a sad day on flight 1578 dfw/stl

You know how get the feeling when you are headed home after a business trip? You look forward to see your family and friends and your able to relax in the comfort of your own home.

Well yesterday started off like that. I was sitting in 6F and I was thinking about getting home. Of course everyone know that the dfw/stl is a short hop. But its still nice to think about getting home.

As I got my self situated I happned to look out the window and I saw something that really hit home. This is something you dont see everyday nor do you want to see everyday.

There was 4 baggage handlers getting this very long piece of freight loaded. As I looked to the left I there was a Army serviceman in full dress greens watching the 4 baggage handlers load the large object. As I looked closer at the frieght I saw the wording on the outside that indicated that this was a casket. I instantly put two and two together and realized that this was a service member on his/her final flight home.
