It sounds like correct info to me. Except for the downgrade kit.
Since you should be able to keep the same class of service on the 777 as you had on the 747, why would you get a downgrade kit if you were not downgraded?
I would also prefer to fly the 747, but just because they change the aircraft to a 777 does not qualify you for the kit unless they bump you down to economy.
I have also had occasions where the aircraft is downgraded to a narrowbody on a domestic flight. UA would let me change flights to back to a widebody (another routing).
Just depends on the agent who answers the phone.
