I never wore flip flops to shower in the dorms in college. i never wore flip flops to even walk to the bathroom most of the time.

I wouldn't use anything in a lounge shower.

I don't use anything in a hotel shower.

I do wear socks through the security check point, but no booties.

I don't have athlete's foot or toe nail fungus.
