I always pack a pair of flip-flops and a plastic baggie for them. Never know when they might come in handy - like the lounge shower, or a quick dip in the hotel pool or a spur-of-the-moment visit to the local beach. I always pack my swimsuit for the same reason. Neither take up much room, and they've come in handy more times than I can recall.
