It's not the money. I'm thinking that, if I take a cab around, say 3:30 am from the city, I'll be at LaGuardia by 4 (too early). I hate hanging around airports for 3 hours at a time. Also, not sure what, if anything, to do after 3 am in the city.

Do you like to shoot pool? If you do, I have a recommendation for you. Go to
Slate. It's on W 21st b/w 5th and 6th. It's open until 4am and I have gone on some terrific dates there. You can pick up a game quite easily too. It's very nice and just a lot of fun. If you have the time, why spend it on a bus just to use up time?
