It's not the money. I'm thinking that, if I take a cab around, say 3:30 am from the city, I'll be at LaGuardia by 4 (too early). I hate hanging around airports for 3 hours at a time. Also, not sure what, if anything, to do after 3 am in the city. If there were something I liked from, say 3 to 4, then I could take a cab at 4 and be at LaGuardia between 4:30 and 5, which would be perfect.
But it seems like, other than the bus (and I don't know that I want to be out near Flushing Meadows at 4 in the morning), there's no easy public transport from the city to LaGuardia. If that's the case, then I guess I'd just take a cab and try to figure out what to do in the city from 3 to 4 on Saturday. Anything in the Village still open that late?
