.bomb error: Name does not match MP number
I booked a ticket over the phone a few days ago. When I try to request an upgrade on .bomb I get the message: 'The passenger name in the reservation and the Mileage Plus number do not match.' Upon closer inspection, when my ticket was booked, my middle name is 'MRS' and my husband's middle name is 'MR'. I called 1K desk and was transferred to the India help desk (oh why didn't I just hang up!). I asked them to change the name and they said they can't because it was already ticketed. I anticipate continued problems with this at check-in, trying to get mileage credit, etc. Has anyone ever had this happen and is there anything I can do? The agent was able to request the upgrade successfully and she said the name looks correct to her.
