So you know, SQ has this tier where they only calculate based on miles flown in PAID biz/first. What if UA did this for top tiers -- do you think this would be a good deal on both sides?

It seems to me top tier fliers would have incentive to buy more expensive tickets (good for UA), and they would get benefits filling in the gap between 1K and MM, no?

But it would probably be difficult to change the scheme that people have gotten used to however?
