My SK longhaul business is not affected as it was paid D/J anyway. Shorthaul I credit to LH M&M to get better mileage.
The primary factor is how the schedule suits my needs. If the the shedule that fits my needs is not outrageously more expensive (even privately) I stick to SK.
The 25% rule has basically eliminated any use of short haul flying to retain status. Luckily 1 1/2 C trips Germany-ORD via ARN earn so many miles that requalifying is easy
