What an absolute load of rubbish. The surcharges have never changed as fast as fares and there is no reason that AC can't just as rapidly change domestic and transborder fares since they do so very frequently as it stands. Yes, it maybe slightly easier to change a few global surcharge fields but that would seem to be another AC IT issue if it really is an issue at all.
