The hotel is also now completely non-smoking. There are signs everywhere and it's printed at least three times in the material given you at check-in.
It's still no "destination hotel" by a long shot, but for a stay-nearby-because-of-connections overnight it's fine. Regular rate is ~$149, but with a free airport shuttle (as opposed to the $70 in cab fare to/from Waikiki) it's probably a wash in terms of price with what you could Hotwire/Priceline in Waikiki.
Thanks! This helps me, we will try the hotel as we are forced to change departure time early in the morning (switching frm Aloha to Mesa...): will drop off rental the night before and sleep at the airport.
