I bought a Motorola V3 for 599 HK$, they told me it has a 1 year shop warranty (After I asked - always ask for warranty). When I then had a problem they told me it was 100 HK$ to repair. Only my threat to go to the authorities made them drop the charges. They needed 2 weeks to fix it. But since the price is so low, I bought a replacement to have a spare one then.

(By the way, a check with Motorola revealed that it was a genuine product, made for the US market).
