It's one free drink per flight, not period. Also don't swipe your AMEX card or you will be charged. Inflight crewmembers know how to take care of the drinks and what to swipe. I had somebody today ask for one and showed me his card.

For those that asked I am doing transcon flights out of BOS, OAK, and IAD for the next 2 months.
