So what happens if you stay at a rate that is ineligible for HHonors points, but all VIP status benefits apply?

Do you still get HHonors points for incidentals, and, if so, How?

I had a stay in the last year booked at a (Oz/NZ) "Hilton Premium Club" $99 "Welcome to Hilton Rate". This was booked online via the generic Hilton.com famly web site booking engine.

I expected to get some HHonors points for my expenditure there if not the stay rate, but - Nada!
