Thanks for that info BKKROP, it has even helped me for my trip!

For my trip to HKT in a couple of weeks, on arrival into BKK, I clear customs and immigration there and then procede normally as If I was in the "free world" and go upstairs to the domestic check-in. On arrival into HKT (my bags will of gone through from SYD) I just disembark normally and procede to the baggage carrosel?
