My rule of thumb is to never book an award ticket unless the ticket would cost me $500 for a saver award. I value my United miles a 2 cents per mile. You would be better off not using your choices since you only get 1 cent per mile from them. Save your United miles for an expensive flight.

One of the best domestic values for United Saver Miles is to Hawaii, flights are generally $1100 from the Midwest or East Coast, which makes your miles worth about 3 cents each.
