Choices come from regular RDMs. Your balance of Choices is dependent upon how much you've charged on your card so it's possible to have many more RDMs than Choices, but for every choice you burn, you also burn a RDM.
Gotta admit, it's kinda annoying that they separate Choices miles vs. non-Choices miles. I certainly understand their reasons for doing it, but a guy can dream right? I'm beeting that it would make a LOT more options open up for many of us who carry to MP Visa...
