I am always very tempted to redeem choices for statement credit but always backout/get lazy. I guess I figure selling miles for 1 cent really isn't worth it unless you are really banking a lot?

My understanding, when you redeem an award ticket, they always burn regular RDMs before digging into choices right? So if you keep banking the choices, they shouldn't (assuming inflation doesn't skyrocket) should retain their value better than RDMs? (assuming the miles needed for award travel increases).
