Where is NAVCAN on all this??? It makes them look like thieves and makes it look like they are the ones charging the money, when in reality AC is pocketing all but $20 of it.
Putting in an undisclosed fee, lumping it in with NAVCAN so average joe doesnt see it is not only deceptive but its like AC is rubbing it in our faces that basically they have the free will to scam people as much as they want in Canada (which of course is not far from the truth with a powerful parliamentary lobby and operating in a oligopoly)
Most fare increases at AC and WS are not announced. Indeed, most price increases at any retail or service provider are not "announced". Your supposition is preposterous. And by the end of the day, NAVCAN will not be part of the headline... just a line item under surcharges.
But if you need something to vent at because of high fuel prices, go ahead. Nobody gets hurt except maybe the planet warms up from all the hot air.
