I just got off the phone with the folks from Pacific Wings Express; they canceled my June 12 late afternoon Kamuela - Kahului flight. Other direct flights earlier that day and for other days were still available.

So, what's up with that?

Are they struggling?
Are they cutting back?
Maybe no longer doing the 5:00 flight from Waimea?
Where we the only 2 people on that flight?
Does Waimea not offer enough business to be profitable?
Someone taking vacation that day?
