the way to do it is this: load priority bags last at origin. At destination, load them onto a truck, that sends them directly to baggage retrieval, while loading non-priority bags on a separate vehicle.

The reason it takes so long is that they are all on the same fri*ging vehicle.

As I understand it, Singapore's airport has special carts to send priority bags to the belt ASAP.
