As others have said, don't try to do a 'green blur' tour of the entire Ireland. All you'll see is Ireland pass by your car window.

Estimate 35 mph on your trip, and you may get close to estimated driving times.

Remember that finding your B&B/hotel, checking in, unpacking, and then packing, and checking out all take a good chunk of time out of each day - you eliminate that time by staying in 2 or 3 places and doing day trips.

If you go to a pub more than once, you are usually accepted by the locals more easily - hard to do when you are in a different town every night

Relax! Enjoy! It will be fabulous regardless.
