It is very safe bet that CFMI will not be the exclusive powerplant on the Boeing NGSA platform -- that ended-up happening by accident on the 737-300 and up. P&W's preferred path to market for a 737 and A320 is through IAE with GTF technology, but the company's efforts right now are focused on the C-Series and the MRJ.
Can A318 or B737-600 compete against C130?
