Virgin Blue Premium = lot's of bucks for little benefit

Warning: The difference between a Brisbane Townsville round trip on Virgin Blue in premium economy is $370.00 over a fully changeable fare. For that extra money you get to sit in either the first or second or third row but they still charge you for anything from the cart. Even a glass of water costs a few dollars. As near as I can tell the only real benefit is you get to hang out in their Brisbane lounge before the flight (the value is $35 since that is what it costs a person off the street to gain admittance). To add insult to the financial injury they won't even let you use the Brisbane lounge after exiting a Virgin Blue Premium economy return flight from Townsville while waiting for a forward flight on another carrier. I think this is the general policy for Virgin Blue throughout Australia. I suggest avoiding that product until they figure out the definition of the word "premium"
