hey there, i'm a newbie here, so please tell me if i should move this question somewhere else. i'm taking amtrak this weekend for the first time in years, and expect to be using it a bit in the next couple years. my ticket is $100 round trip, and i only noticed last night that the guest rewards will give you 1 point/$1 but not less than 100 points per trip. should i look into canceling my existing ticket and buying 2 one-ways so that i get 200 points rather than 100? (i know this is a small number of points, but figure the theory is good to know for future)
