If Southwest would allow use to buy up to 2 RR credits per year, that would solve this problem and make a few bucks for Southwest. @:-)
It would be nice, but I am not sure if Southwest will actually make a few bucks. People usually top off an account to use the value of whole deposit. So if someone buys 2 credits to top off for a ticket worth 16 credits, Southwest will make money selling the 2 credits, but lose out on the 14 credits (which would otherwise have gone expired).
I would love to be able to buy a few credits myself. I am just two credits short of an award right now myself.
