The operating carrier is what matters, but since both are Star Alliance members anyway, it should be the same.
However, note the fare class carefully -- e.g., "B" is called "discount economy" on ANA, and earns 70%. If it's coded ANA B class, then that shouldn't matter if it's operated by Air China, but it always gets complicated in those cases.
