I have the LG 42" TV. It has a great picture and sound.
But costs tooo many Aeroplan points.
One can buy it for $999 to $899 on a super sale

PS: Don't be fooled by the 720P 1080P Bull flap.
At normal TV viewing distances, you can't see the diff on a 42" HDTV set.
Only used if you are the TV is set up as a computer/game machine monitor.

PS#2: Broadcast HDTV max resolution is 720P.
1080i is really a misnomer. It is 540 lines interlaced, 540i.
The resulting TV resolution ends up about the same as 720P, but with less quality in fast action.
That is why sports and action-oriented channels like ABC, PBS and FOX went with 720P transmission format.
