I certainly see brp’s point. I used 55,000 miles to buy a self and spouse AC membership last August – only the second time I’ve used miles for that in the past 10 years. It was worth it to me as I have 1.5+ million to burn (during the life of the program). Spouse has gargantuan quantities, too, despite obtaining scores of tickets and upgrades for us, family and friends over the years. So, this is a good use for us but maybe not for those that value their miles differently.

BTW, It certainly doesn’t seem as though many on this board will go for the free AC membership when they hit 125K thanks to Adder……
