You mean it disappeared early? Itins on hold are meant to disappear at midnight Eastern time the day after the hold is placed. This thread is about held itineraries that disappear the same day the hold is placed, which is technically not what should happen.
Also, the trigger for early disappearing holds seems to be conflicting itineraries already booked, not the method of payment.
