Dewd, you're gonna be so disappointed in 7200 RPM after living with a Raptor (I have 2 in a RAID 0, backed up by a huge HD). RAID 1 will slow it down even more.

So far, its not as bad of a step-down as I thought it would be... the fact that the new drives are the later generation of SATA helps (Raptor was 1.5 Gbit/s; Seagates are 3.0 Gbit/s)...
The drive loss is the hard part... having to re-install
everything is a PITA.
