On redeyes, I've found that once most people have gone to sleep, you can usually get a couple bottles of tanqueray or whatever liquor for free from the FAs.

I usually order two at a time (i usually have $10 bills instead of $5), and on a couple of occasions have gotten up for the bathroom and a FA has just given me two more on my way back to my seat.
