I flew JFK-FRA last year on SQ. I will say the staff was quite attentive, like any good Asian airline. The flight is VERY short, something like 6 hours of flight time (don't quote me but it hardly felt "international"). Almost not enough time to eat a full meal, get decent sleep, and then wake up for breakfast. Breakfast is just continental, so no hot food. I didn't really like the slanted business class seats though..didn't sleep very well.

Overall, for that short of a flight you wouldn't give up much going on DL. I did like being on the top deck on the 747 though.
