You must rebook travel by calling up CO and referencing that PNR. A change fee will then be collected and travel can only be for the originally ticketed passenger.
Any remaining funds will be issued as a CO.com ETC that can be used by anyone for up to 1 year and will retain all residual value until used up.
sounds about right, but you can rebook online by selecting new fligths for your old PNR with no flights.
