I "resisted" recently LHR-LAX. Seated in 1K, dozed off and found one blind was shut, the other 2 were left open in an otherwise dark cabin..! Later in the flight I was asked to the other blinds because the sun was shining on [I think] 2A. We reached a compromise and I shut one blind and kept looking out the other. The crew were good about it and commented on the scenery to.
