It is solely the problem of BA and not the WT+ passengers. I suspect most of them don't realise they are not supposed to do it. Many cabin crew just ignore what goes on and couldn't care less and on occasions actually condone it.So unless they change the layout it shall continue. No big deal,some of them have probably paid a lot of money for their seat.
IMHO, and apologies if anyone here was involved, but it seems so typical of modern business "I have a great idea - lets do X". Everybody jumps up and down saying "great idea - yes wonderful" but it seems that no-one is brave enough or has enough little grey cells to think it through and say "ah but the downsides are".
Politics too "lets save money by getting rid of the 10% tax band" - perhaps if someone had thought it through GB wouldn't be so deep in the brown smelly stuff?
