and am i allowed to pay for other peoples things with the card (i.e i go to the shops and ask people if i can run the price for there groceries through my credit card and they give me the cash) ??

If you buy/return goods on CC you'll find they will re-credit the funds back to the card and you'll lose the points.

You can definately offer tyo buy things for other people and have them give you the cash - I do it all the time!

Banks are wise to FF points activity so it's a little trickier these days than it once was. If you really want to get a lot of points cheaply, the best way is to charge your own card through your own merchant in large amounts at a time. Of course this is only worthwhile if you have rates under 0.7%.

Personally, I wouldn't bother trying to do anything - it's too much work for what you'll get out of it.
