Well, I'm glad it worked for you. I had a delayed bag on a UA Express flight from ORD-MSN. The agent in MSN located it (still at ORD) right away and said it would be on next flight. Several hours later I called 1k baggage #. Gotthe recorded voice who told me there were no reports of lost bags to MSN but that they would do a "priority check." Called MSN baggage number. She looked it up and siad it was in the air. Two hours later it was at my door. How could the local agent know about the bag, but 1k baggage did not?
