Here is my problem..... We are leaving at 7:20pm from LAX to Australia. We have that all booked on Air Tahiti Nui. After this past winter we have had, I want to leave as much time as possible to get to LAX, short of going the day before. A non-stop flight would eliminate any problem with connections. Today it looks like a stop in St. Louis and arriving at LAX at 12:05pm would be the best (if I am thinking this through right). This is JUST IN CASE we are delayed getting out of Chic.
Now coming back we get into LAX at 8:30am. I see nothing out of LAX until 1:00pm getting into Chic. at 7:15pm. At least it's a non-stop. Reason for using air miles is 1) I have them 2) trying to keep total cost of trip within reason 3) and who knows how long they'll be good! Am I not looking at this right? I do so appreciate any and all help from those of you that know more than I do.
