I would appreciate it if you would tell us definitively what inaccuracies we are reporting. Let me just address two of a typical NW flyers concerns. This is no where near as extensive as the list above, but I have provided evidence to accompany it.
1. Delta is in the midst of a great devaluation.
Evidence: Delta is implementing a three tier system for award tickets. They have begun to charge fuel surcharges on award tickets originating outside of the United States. Some people have been told that these fuel surcharges will soon come to the United States as well. This is not yet confirmed, but seems likely. They have posted a new reward chart in which 120K miles is required for a business award to Europe.
2. Delta's Crown Room Clubs are not as nice as Worldclubs.
Evidence: Free t-mobile internet is provided to CRC members, not to WC members or those paying full fare for business class. CRC use a bar system in which tipping is expected. Delta snack offerings are significantly less than NW, as further evidence the typical breakfast spread at a WC is muffins, bagels, occassionally mini-donuts or curlers, fruit, yoghurt, and Special K bars. At CRC the typical breakfast is 3 types of snack mix and an oversized fig newton.
