OK - I'll bite ('scuse pun) - why bananas? He actually came home smelling of Dior's Eau Sauvage. That and Guerlain's Vetiver on a man and I could lose all self-control!!

Now Spottie - I have - it is true not been in Crawley properly for some years but remember I worked with the Crawley clientele for more years than I care to remember. I have no idea why airports attract so many candidates for the Jeremy Kyle show than elsewhere. Feltham and Befont - and Ashford and Staines were sin bins long before they became fashionable. I could tell you about Melanie and the Milkman in 1984 when she was 16 and her neighbour flew for us........but that would be boring and OT.

I smile when I read these CE flight threads - even though I am deeply into all this for HI and me - the likes of that lot of dossers on that estate is that they probably pay less than £200 for a full week somewhere in Southern Turkey or whichever country (for they had no idea) had the misfortune of being frequented by the likes of them.

If this thread is all about tried and tested travel snobbery I am grade A tried and tested Good Housekeeping approved.

All I remember is some of the goings-on ithose estates in Coachmans Rise in Cawley as you come off the M23 at the off ramp after the LGW off ramp. I know of at least two families who were moonlighting full time and claiming "the social". When they were not off on holiday that is.
