I'm based in Boston. The club here...just doesn't stack up. It's dark and crowded. There isn't really a view. The chairs aren't very comfortable.
About half the time I'm flying out, I end up just skipping the club and finding a quiet corner near the gate.

The club at LAX is actually fairly nice for an AA lounge.

@ekert: They probably _were_ using a jackhammer next door when you visited the club in Boston. Logan Terminal B has been under construction for months.
