We are going to be in Newport Beach for 4 days for a wedding (Thurs-Sun) We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express on West Coast Hwy. There are 6-8 of us traveling together, couple of questions:

1 .Do we really need a car? The wedding is on the ICON in Newport Harbor on Saturday, walking distance from hotel. We can use Super Shuttle to get us from LAX to hotel.
2. What are some good/fun bars restaurants in the area?
3. If we wanted to bum around the beaches, I guess we could always rent bikes, scooters. If so any recommendations?
4. Any other advice?
