Sitting back in our canalside office in the centre of Amsterdam I can report this beautiful city is only seedy if one wants it to be. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

FWIW I took a CW seat to AMS today and enjoyed the service, but it's no bargain for a 45 minute flight. (And 45 minutes of ground hold, and 15 minutes of taxiing from the polderbaan at AMS.)
